Our Experience: Our President, Fred Morris, owned and operated three companies of his own in Costa Rica for a period of 12 years. He is totally fluent in Spanish and Portuguese. Our Secretary/Treasurer, Nick Ruggiero, managed a number of successful businesses in the United States for many years. Both have been living in Panama for some time and love it. We founded Your Casa Inc S.A. so that we can share the joys of expatriate living in Panama with others.
About Panama: Perhaps the first thing to say about Panama is that virtually everything here is less expensive than in the US or in Canada. Housing, food, telecommunications, medical care--all cost less in Panama. Secondly, it is a dollar-economy, which means that there is no exchange rate, no any risk of a currency devaluation. Third, though we should probably put this in first place, the people of Panama are wonderful. They are cordial, helpful and friendly. They make us feel genuinely at home in their country. Fourth, we have to say something about the scenery and the weather: there is something for everyone. You can live in the city, on the beach, in the country and in the mountains. In Coronado, the temperature ranges from 88 to 91 pretty much the year round, with delightful sea breezes blowing all the time. If that seems too hot, you can go up into the mountains about 30 minutes away and have a home at 1,800 feet above sea lever, where the temperature ranges from 62 to 78, year round. If you like the beach, there is lots of it on the warm Pacific Ocean--or you can go to the Caribbean on the other side of the country. If you like mountains, you can live as high as 8,000 feet, though it takes a bit of doing to get that high up on a road. If we sound exuberant, it is because we are. We love this place! and we would like to share a piece of it with you.
Our Product: We are offering not only quality construction, but the kind of service you want and need as you make the transition to a new home in a new place. We can recommend bi-lingual and very competent doctors, dentists and specialists in the medical profession, as well as excellent hospitals. We can help you find a maid and a gardener. Your new home from Your Casa comes with a one-year guarantee. But after that, we can, and will, assist you to find a plumber or electrician if you want or need one. We can even get you into a Spanish class, if you want.
Our houses are complete, including the appliances and ACs already installed and up and running. And, if you wish, we can modify our house before it is built to meet any of your specific desires.
